Brush Chipping - Curbside
Public works staff will chip brush at residences on the first and third Monday of each month weather permitting. Brush chipping begins, weather permitting, April 1st and runs through the end of November. This is limited to brush only – no construction materials, no garden refuse/compostables, no boards/lumber of any kind. Brush/limbs must be: 6-inches in diameter or smaller; cut into lengths that one person can manage; and
“clean” (free of mud/dirt). Quantities are limited to amounts the public works crew can reasonably feed through the chipper in 15 minutes or less.  Root balls cannot be accepted.

BEFORE YOU DIG… 8-1-1
Before you start your lawn & garden project call DIGGERS HOTLINE: 8-1-1
The Village is a member of Diggers Hotline; they will call us if you need your water lines located. Water mains and laterals will both be located but lateral line locations will only go to the curb box. Sewer mains only will be located, not sewer laterals. If you have further questions, contact Public Works: 608-424-3666.
